All Weather Backing System
The “ All Weather Backing System” is delivered in the form of an E.Book at a cost of £45
It is a backing system for the All Weather market, used all year round but with very few bets outside the period October to February inclusive.
The author claims a modest 21 points a year profit from the All Weather Backing System, with no losing year in the 4 years it has been operating.
While this is not high, there are only some 80 bets a year so there is on average a 1/4 point return bet bet, so the system is worthy of review as a portfolio builder
We shall trial the All Weather Backing System system for 45 days. although we do not expect a bet each day.
After trialing the system for 45 days, I can report the following on the system.
45 Days and 26 bets
A 30% strike rate – better than the historic 25% reported by the author
A 13 3/4 point profit at SP – the historic pro rata profit recorded by the All Weather systems author is 14 points.
So, the system in this relatively short trial, does just about exactly what it says on the tin, showing results and profits, we would on average, expect from this system.
So I have to say it is one I am going to add to my portfolio as while the anual returns are only around 20 points each year, it is only for 3 months, and they are the “dark” months with fewer distractions, and when there are qualifying meetings, the selections are SO easy to make in no more than 5 minutes a day.
I looked at other aspects of the All Weather Backing System and the first pointer is that there is no profit to be made from betting each way, and that the “final filter” elimation I referred to during the trial period , if ignored only gave a marginal profit and presumably historically no profit, otherwise the author would not have used the filter. So I will not bother with it!
If you buy the system, it will almost certainly pay for itself if followed exactly as the author prescribes.

The All Weather Backing System has 10 filters.
There are some invioable ones, but some are marginal.Today had 2 possible contenders, One failed on 2 criteria and won its race
The second failed on one of the criteria and came 2nd.
These will not be included in the daily profit/loss statements for the All Weather System, but will be mentioned , and in the final summary will be analysed to see which of the filters, if ignored, would be of benefit

The one possibility today failed to qualify on one criteria – but won its race anyway. Again we will not post this as a results but see at the end of the trial what difference ignoring some filters would make. So far, all 3 potential selections have had at least one common filter, 2 have won, one lost by a nose!

A pattern is developing here which if it continues, will give the All Weather Backing System a tweak into profitability. As previously stated, these possible amendments will be monitored throughout the trial to see if there is any money to be made from ignoring any of the filters

Well the bus duly arrived with one losing bet I winning bet and a 3rd horse that won but marginally did not pass the final filter and adds to the list of those winners who failed that particular filter as mentioned previously.
Still we had a 1.5 point profit for the day bringing our cumulative profit for The All Weather Backing System to 14.84 points. It is a 99.9% cert. that the All Weather Trial, which ends in 10 days, will finish with a profit – follow this column to see by how much!
