Welcome to our review of Smart Racing Trader

Smart Racing Trader comes in the form of an ebook for the price of £69.95 and enclosed are two different trading methods for use on UK Horse Racing.
Since release the author claims to have made £1365.04 profit with a starting bank of only £500 with these low risk strategies in just over 10 weeks.

Smart Racing Trader System 1 is for use on weekdays only and takes between 10 and 30 minutes a day to implement using Betfair and is a simple pre-race back and lay trading method. This system is the main income producer.

Smart Racing Trader System 2 is a completely different method and has nothing to do with system 1 and can only be used on national hunt flat racing. This is a very simple system to operate with no form study or in play trading used and only requires around 10 minutes pre-race to implement. This system can be used anytime of the week.

We  will review Smart Racing Trader for the next 60 weekdays to a £100 level stake per selection to live prices obtained, all returns will be shown less 5% Betfair commission.

Smart Racing Trader: the final verdict

Two very simple trading systems are included with your purchase of Smart Racing Trader with both requiring the user to be available for the days live racing which would make this a non starter for any nine to fivers. System one can only be used on week days but system two can be used anytime, but for this trial I only used them both Monday to Friday.

System one gives us our first action of the day and revolves around the first few races. We need at least three GB race meetings for there to be any trading and the races can be checked the night before racing if required so that you have prior warning if there is a no bet day. This system can be used on flat or jumps racing so this will keep you busy all year round, but out of the two this made the least profit. The difficulty with this system is timing when you enter and exit the trade for maximum profit as the markets can be quite volatile and staying in too long when the trade has gone against you can cost you big time as it did with me on a couple of occasions. Overall the reasoning behind this system is sound and practice will make it more profitable.

System two is only used on national hunt flat races which are usually the last race on any jump meetings card so this system will be mainly used during the winter jumps season but there will be the odd race during the summer months. This system produced the most profit during the trial and again the only difficulty is timing when you enter and exit the trade but I was more successful at this than system one for reasons I can’t explain without giving too much away.

Smart Racing Trader Final Summary

The author recommends using £100 stakes and this can be quite daunting when you first start, but in reality the most that is ever at risk is about 10% of this. Both systems are easy to use and with a little practice can be quite profitable as long as you learn to get out quickly if a trade goes against you and take the loss. This can be quite a difficult task to master as it is so annoying when you exit a trade and the horses price then comes in as you were expecting it to do, but a few small losses are better than a huge loss if you stay in too long. None of these systems are going to make you rich but they do give you an introduction into the world of trading horses which with a little practice can make you a small steady monthly profit, so I would recommend Smart Racing Trader for this benefit alone.
