Sports Betting Dynamics Review
Sports Betting Dynamics Review

Sports Betting Dynamics
This is a review starting with a difference. We are looking forward to reviewing this one, as it will be looking at the American sports scene, a different angle from the majority of reviews on OBE as they typically focus on UK sport and racing events.
Sports Betting Dynamics is a brand new tipping/prediction service from a relatively new player on the block, Tom Daxton.
Tom is very keen to make a difference and is more interested in giving his customers something that actually produces profits season after season rather than lining his own pockets. He seems a genuinely nice guy and all of his results are accurate and up to date, as you can see for yourself from the Sports Betting Dynamics page (click the Results link there).
Sports Betting Dynamics is a tipping / prediction service for the NBA Basketball league in the USA running from October to mid-June. In speaking to Tom, I understand that he will also be running a separate service for baseball from April to October, therefore there will be no drought for all you lovers of sport from across the pond. I am not sure whether this will be a separate subscription in parallel or an ‘ as well as’. Tom also reckons that the daily nature of US sports lends itself to better statistical prediction, so we’ll be able to put that to the test.
Probing a bit further with Tom, I asked what is the premise of Sports Betting Dynamics? Tom’s reply went as follows “I look mostly for short priced favorites that has very good team co – ordiantion , since basketball is a 5 man a team side , better co-ordination leads to a better shooting percentage , which brings out consistent winners!” Hence he researches teams in form with good chemistry.
The system performed well for the free 30-day trial that Tom offered all early birds, but we here at OBE would like to see what happens beyond that when the system goes live. So we recommend you take a look at Sports Betting Dynamics, and follow the review here on the blog.
After 64 days it’s time to bring this review to a close. From a very promising start racking up around 40 points profit in 4-5 weeks, things started to go a bit wobbly. Then from wobbly they started to do downhill fast. Within not much more than a week Sports Betting Dynamics had lost over 110 points, it was in deficit by 70 points! Now since then, it has made a recovery and the review has ended up 11 points to the good. But this is where my problems with SBD start.
Yes it is good that it reached over 40 points profit. Yes we should expect a system to have losses as well as the successful times. Yes it is good that it recovered from the loss to be in profit. But what concerns me is how Sports Betting Dynamics, or should I say Tom, went about it.
The issue in my mind comes down to that of the staking strategy. Initially any staking strategy that takes its time to accrue 40 points and then loses almost three times what it has made in a quarter of the time it took to make it is a cause for concern. Similarly any staking strategy that is risking a further 22 points when you are already 72 points in the red is a severe cause for concern. Just think about this for a moment. At fairly modest stakes of £10 per point, this means that when your betting bank was depleted by £720 you would have been betting another £220! Whilst Tom advocates a 300 point betting bank, this would give the most hardened punter a fit of the vapours.
I asked Tom what staking strategy he used and he replied by saying he uses a “Labby Line”. After looking through his explanation of it, whilst I undersatnd his explanation, it does almost look as though you make it up as you go along. In fact Tom does admit that he tends to stick to it for 75% of the time. Only knows what happens for the other 25% of the time?
Let’s look at some of the statistics for Sports Betting Dynamics:
- Days betting: 64
- Net Profit: 11 points (to Tom Daxton’s staking plan)
- Strike Rate 52.7%
- Average odds: 1.94
These statistics are not going to set the world on fire or even get me driving to the local Lamborghini showroom to place my deposit on a shiny new car. 50% strike rate for a backing system is not too bad, but it suffers at the level of odds achievable.
Looking at alternative staking strategies the end result was significantly worse:
- 3pt loss to level £10 stakes
- 12pt loss to 5% stakes of betting bank
So, to conclude…. I think there is SOME merit in this system. The selections do have some success but they do have their fair share of losses. The problem is with the staking strategy. Sports Betting Dynamics adopts a very aggressive progressive staking strategy, particularly when it comes to a recovery situation. In fact I would suggest it is too aggressive for most people. I think that the system could work, but you would need to be a very seasoned campaigner with very deep pockets to accommodate Sports Betting Dynamics. For the average Joe, even with slightly deep pockets, this is just a little bit to aggressive. Therefore, it is with an element of regret that I place this system on the ‘neutral’ pile and leave the decision to purchase up to you.

Day 7 – Sports Betting Dynamics 31/01/2011
The fantastic start to the review keeps on rolling. The Lippy L.A’ers didn’t allow the opposition to get a word in edgeways and contributed to their winning treble. Unfortunately a small dent was put in today’s profit by the Indiana/Toronto game who were unable to rack up more than 208 points in their game. But nevertheless, we made a small profit, which means that we’re still going in the right direction.

We have reached half way through the season. Friday, Saturday and Sunday is the Mid seasonal break in the NBA, so there will be no bets.

As a mini analysis and break down on the plays in the trial so far, the situation look as follows:
Money Lines – 14 wins – 4 loss
Doubles - 8 wins – 4 loss
Handicap (Spread) – 2 win – 2 loss
Trebles – 1 win – 8 losses
Totals – 1 win – 3 losses
So overall, the trial is 26 wins and 21 losses a strike rate of 55%, but showing a very impressive 36 point profit. That would be £360 to £10 per point stakes.
Trebles have been hitting the bank pretty hard, standing at a success of 1 from 9 at a loss of -16 units. Single Money lines looks the more favourable option is where Tom is saying he will concentrate more together with the doubles.

———- Sports Betting Dynamics Interim Report ———-
Well, we have reached the end of the free trial period of Sports Betting Dynamics and what can I say apart from it has been a complete success!
Tom was confident about the system from his past results and, with the trial netting over 35 points, he had every right to be. This was achieved, remarkably on a strike rate of 55%, which goes to highlight a very important point about Tom’s service… it is not only his bet selections but his staking recommendations as well that make the service the success it is. Level stakes would not have worked with his selections. It is one of those cases where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
I know that Tom will be limiting the spaces available to people following the trial. The initial spaces have already been snapped up, but I have it on the grapevine that he might be opening up some more places in the future. So I strongly recommend you getting over to the Sports Betting Dynamics registration page and getting your name on his list for when the next slots open up.
Get on over to Tom Daxton’s Sports Betting Dynamics and register now…..
In the meantime, we shall be continuing with the review here on OnlineBettingExposed, just to fulfil our commitment to 45 day reviews, and to keep a little beady eye on how Sports Betting Dynamics keeps performing.

Day 41 - Sports Betting Dynamics 13/03/2011
Well, we have hit an all time low today with out betting bank reaching over nine points in the red. This seems like a moment to pause and reflect. Yes it is a bad time in the review from the highs where we once were. But everyone needs to be ready for the lows as well as the highs. Historically this has been a good performer and there has been some awful bad luck over the past few days.
Tom has taken the time to remind us that he himself was 80 points down earlier in the season with this system, but as of 11th March he had bounced back to 225 points. Therefore the historical nature of the system needs to be taken into account…. as with any system. We are all different in our attitudes to risk, therefore if this dip does not overly concern you and you can ride out the storm, then it could be a good system for you. If this is too much of a roller coaster for you then maybe it is time to consider changing rides.

Day 42 - Sports Betting Dynamics 14/03/2011
We continue to take one hell of a knock on this losing streak. It is a unfortunate for those who started to put their money on the system from the ‘go live’ date as you will be 77 points down. However, this review does illustrate the merit of thinking long term. Considering the system from the start of this review on 25th January, losses would be a little less than halved.
Tom has put his confidence in the system and expects to be back in the green by the end of the month. Now that will be something worth waiting for and a good test of the system.

I have to admit this is quite a dismal turnaround from the early heady days of 40+ points profit. Apparently 90% of the last week’s losses has been down to a tight finish and the final result going the wrong way. Watch this space to see which way events turn.

Day 44 - Sports Betting Dynamics 16/03/2011
So why today’s selections?
Denver are a team in good form, being 6-1 in the last 7 plays and 4-2 in the last 6 against Atlanta, 4-2 in their last 6 away games as well as averaging 110 points in their last 7 games. Whilst Atlanta are 2-3 in their last 5 games.
Why Dallas? With statistics of 5-1 in the last 6 games against their opposition Golden State, and 20-5 in their last 25 games, they definitely seem a team in good form. Combine this with the fact that their points losses in their losing 5 games have averaged 2 points! Their oppositio, Golden State are 4-8 in their last 12 plays.
Therefore Denver and Dallas were good selections for today and resulted in a welcome 50 point win.

Day 45 - Sports Betting Dynamics 17/03/2011
So why today’s selection? Tom’s analysis goes as follows….
Chicago is 9-1 in its last 10 plays, with some significant wins away from home. The onlyloss being away from home, which was only by 3 points. On the flip side of the coin, Chicago’s opposition, New Jersey, is currently 5-0 in the last 5 games and 5-5 in te last 10. Of the recent games that New Jersey has won, 3 games have gon into overtime, effectively winning on acoin toss. So it is hard to see them matching a confident Chicago.
The one fly in the ointment is that Chicago is actually 1-15 in the last 16 trips to NJ. But with a very strong team, this should be easily overturned by the Chicago line-up.

Take a look at Sports Betting Dynamics.
.

Your system seems to work. Very good, Please send me the selection fortoday mon. 31Jan2011 I deleted it in error. With thanks. Graham Campbell.
Hi Graham,
I have emailed you the selections and they are also above under the Day 7 selections.
Paul
Hello,
the free trial period finished. The system seems to work. Do you have more information about it like cost or somethink else? How do you rate it?
When will you get the results updated?
According to my records he is now 70+ points in the red and spiralling like a kamikaze! What is the real story here? Is this an incredibly elaborate sting, or was he just very, very lucky during the trial?
Hi Kel,
I have updated the results. My apologies I hadn’t realised it was so far behind.
By my recogning the system is 9 points down since the beginning of the free trial period and the beginning of our review.
The system is about 50 points down (give or take) since the ‘go live’ date. This could well be Murphy’s Law… when you want it to perform well, luck goes against you.
With ANY system, you need to look at the long term. The historic results support the early success that this system had. The selections are there for everyone to see, both good and bad. They are published in advance of the games happening so there is no smoke and mirrors. We do not publish the selections in advance because then people who have not paid for the service will be able to get them from this site. Therefore to be fair to all of those who have subscribed to the service, we only publish the results now the system is live.
I would not be too quick to judge. To me this looks a good service. But lets see what unfolds.
Paul
March 16,
Down another 30 units today.
My records are at POT level and Strike Rate. Think you should include this measurement as well as up or down points/units. Reason being is that wild money management outlays (which Tom is doing) will show up better in POT measurements.
I’m guessing here without further in depth analysis, but I think many of his plays are around the trends .. eg a team on a (small) winning streak taken against a team on a (small) losing streak at, eg, money line.
Someone with more time than me could possibly elaborate further given all the data is on this page.
I’ve stopped betting according to the recommended outlays. I don’t think the money management is satisfactory. Interested to see how things continue. There’s a big psychological factor here, and even if you were betting $10 units (and why would you waste your time with anything much less), going from $10 one day and winning $5 to $250 a week later to win $125 can’t sit well with anyone unless you are really rich or playing with someone else’s money, surely?!?
Thanks Paul…but have as look around at a few blogs. This looks suspiciously like a fraud service set-up by someone using a disguise, and someone who has started and closed repeatedly. If you want links I will send them through. For your own reputation, I would suggest you delve further. Another 30 points lost today, so now -107 units as per the email ‘Tom’ distributed this morning. Over 33% of the bank lost in about a week. Bad luck aside, there are some strange things behind this service and ‘Tom’ is not being very sensible about his tips.
Hi Willy,
Yes great idea.
Can anyone out there help with these stats please?
Paul
Hi Kel,
Thanks for your comment, but I struggle to see your viewpoint. The transparency with the service has been clear throughout. The gains were there for everybody to see in the trial as are the losses now. The selections and bets now seem to be part of a staking recovery plan which Tom is clear about in his emails.
I have no vested interest in SBD, but I see it time and again, people are too willing to take the highs and jump on the bandwagon when times are rough.
Let’s see what happens
Paul
Paul, Thanks for the comment. I aslo saw the trial and was truly amazed by it. I am also truly amazed by a 50% decrease in the bank in 14 days. Tom Daxton is a pseudonym – I have the proof – and I suspect a professional tipster provided the selections during the trial and now someone is throwing darts at a board. When will you be updating your records on the SBD service tips?
Hi Kel,
I will try to post them on a daily basis. However, there are other items that Mr B would like looking at, so bear with me if I forget.
Thanks
Paul
Hi Paul, Are thse dividends you achieved or are you simply reporting what our friend ‘Tom’ is telling you he somehow managed? Interested to know. Thanks. Kel
As always Kel, the selections and odds available are verifiable with the online bookmakers specified. Therefore by the ‘dividends’ I assume you refer to the results, which are verifiable as they are published in advance.
I suggest that if you want to check these yourself, you subscribe to the service.
Paul
man ive been subscribing to this guys picks from day 1 and have followed him long before he started this service ! when he starts well u guys hail him, when he starts losing u ridicule him , when he bounces back u start looking for excuses like odds and dividens, pathetic craps shouldnt bet if you cant stand losses and jump sides ,
Hi Victor,
Well said!
Paul
Hi Paul, I am subscribed hence my questioning the dividends. Seems like you are not or you would also know the dividends quoted are not always available when the email is received, hence the results are inflated.
And ‘Victor’, thank you for your eloquent and grammatically interesting unbiased response. Very insightful. Pleased for you that you feel the results are worth the subscription fee. I expect more for my money. PS. Are you related to ‘Tom’ … your English skills seem about on par?
Kel,
Yes I do subscribe and do check the available odds for the purposes of this review, but I am not going to publish them in advance because this would give an unfair advantage to people wanting to receive the selections but are not prepared to pay. I do sample the selections and their odds to ensure they are achievable. You will undoubetdly, therefore, have received the update to the email of 19th March which informed everyone of the shortening odds on the L.A. Clippers due to injuries to their opponents the Clevland Cavaliers. I see that you didn’t refer to this fact in your comments.
As with ANY system, odds will move and I have actaully found on occassions that I would have been able to attain better odds than quoted. It is a swings and roundabouts game.
I notice that you are quite ready to advertise Sports Betting Dynamics on your website as an affiliate, which is an implied recommendation without a review to back it up. So you are willing to take the commission from any sales yet use this site as a medium to try to discredit the system.
Please do not use this site to air your grievances. You have my email address and as yet you have given me NO proof that I am prepared to air on here that shows this system in a bad light. Some waffly emails from third parties that have a grievance when the system takes a downturn that they don’t like is NOT proof and NOT acceptable.
Similarly some personal gripe that the odds are not achievable when you look at them is also not worthy of consideration.
I have given you the courtesy of publishing your comments on here, now please, with respect do not use this site for airing grievances that has no substance.
If you have ANY conclusive evidence to the contrary i am always prepared to listen and it can be sent to my email address. If I am convinced by it, I will make comment in the review and draw the appropraite conclusions.
Similarly if you use ANY langauge that infers prejudice to people commenting on this site again, you will be banned with immediate effect.
Thank you
Paul
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your clear and defined airing of your views. I am sure it will help your readers determine for themselves the benefit of using your website for unbiased reviews of betting services and systems. You will have noticed that I am currently advising my clients to be very cautious in following our friend ‘Tom’. I have not, as ‘Tom’ suggested, advised my/his clients to stop betting on his tips – I am still following them very cautiously myself – but simply suggesting they do not follow him on his chasing strategy and invest above 5 units per tip until we see some consistency return as we had during the very good trial period. Any system or service that cannot make a profit on flat betting – as you would/should well know – is not going to work in the long-term. If it needs an agressive staking plan to work then the POT will drop and the risk increase unreasonably. If you choose to ban me from your forum for upsetting the standard of your service, I hope at least you will leave my comments – and your replies – available for you readers. Thanks again.
Kel
Hi Paul,
Could you clarify for me the meaning of “Similarly if you use ANY langauge that infers prejudice to people commenting on this site agin, you will be banned with immediate effect.”? Thanks.
Kel
Kel,
That is a completely understandable comment to make and one that I would endorse. If you are advising your readers against an aggressive staking approach then that is fine, but we have chosen to follow the author’s approach for the purpose of the review. Each to their own.
However, it is quite a different point of view compared with your earlier posts and I quote:
15th March – “What is the real story here? Is this an incredibly elaborate sting, or was he just very, very lucky during the trial?”
16th March – “This looks suspiciously like a fraud service set-up by someone using a disguise”
16th March -” Tom Daxton is a pseudonym – I have the proof – and I suspect a professional tipster provided the selections during the trial and now someone is throwing darts at a board”
So if you wish to post please make sure your motivation for posting is perfectly clear, then there will be no misunderstanding.
Thank you
Paul
Kel,
You said in a previous comment in relation to another contributer to the review…
27th March – “PS. Are you related to ‘Tom’ … your English skills seem about on par?”
This is not a complementary comment and one that I will not tolerate.
Paul
Hi Paul,
OK, thanks for the clarification. Apologies to ‘Victor’. I was just a bit confused given the derogatory remarks made by ‘Victor’ and directed to many of your readers, which you condoned as ‘well said. But now I undertsand where you are coming from I will be more wary of my comments.
My other comments were a bit OTT for this forum. All true, but as you say only I and a few of my clients are aware of it so those thoughts should not be aried here as your forum has a different purpose.
Thanks again for your understanding and here is hoping for every SBD subscribers sake our friend ‘Tom’ returns to his trial period form soon and actually makes us a profit that pays for subscription, and which he really can boast about.
Kel
Hi Kel,
Thank you… and your contributions are welcome
Paul
Hi Paul,
Tom just called me – I have stopped using the single quotes now that I know this is just a nickname and apparently was never meant as any kind of under-handed motivation. It is just a cultural issue that I mis-understood, so apologies Tom and your were right Paul.
Tom asked me to back off on the negative comments on your forum. An unusual request in this era of free speech, but apparently the marketing company Tom uses has been giving him grief about my comments. Not sure why, as all I have been doing is suggesting a more cautious approach was in order with the SBD tips, and that I am limiting my personal bets on the SBD tips to a MAX of 5 units on any single tip. (My comments about a psuedonym were correct so surely they were not upset about that?) I highlighted the need for complete transparency in this industry if you want to be around for the long haul. He apologised and know understands his mistake on that front.
Tom told me I should be following his exact advice (and following him into the big chasing trends) but I highlighted to Tom that my approach shows a better POT than he has! I think he got the message that I am not out to deface him, but simply to ensure the clients to whom I recommended his service – and that constitutes 25% of his (reported) membership – are receiving the best possible support. Apparently all emails are handled by the marketing machine that launched his service for him, and all he does is pick the games to bet on. But he did then say he has not seen all the emails that I know my clients – and I – have been sending him with concerns about the results, so I am now a bit confused as to what the client support is that he and his marketing machine offer.
The short of it is that he will be calling me on a weekly basis to talk about his service, as he does want to be around for the long-term and does want to offer better support and profits to clients. He is convinced he will have everyone well in profit by season end.
I am looking forward to that, and to our next strategy talk.
Kel
Hi Kel,
Very interesting and thanks for reporting what you have done, much appreciated.
Just to confirm what I said before, I do endorse your word of caution and the final review will look at the staking strategy. One of the obvious dangers of Tom’s approach is that any betting bank that was allocated must have been in dire danger of being eliminated. It is not very sensible to have such an aggressive staking strategy that means you are at the limit of your bank within such a short number of bets.
The other thing is, Kel, this forum is open to Tom as much as anyone else. Therefore he,or his marketing machine, can comment on the review just like you or I.
Paul
Thanks Paul,
I asked Tom to comment on the forum but he told me it was not his job to do so. A bit confused by that comment really, but I guess he means that is the role of the marketing machine he used. Would love to hear from them. They did copy me on an email where they replied to one of my clients who requested a refund on Tom’s NBA service. Unfortunately the wording was rude and certainly quite unprofessional.
Looking forward to that big turnaround that Tom has promised. I did suggest it was OK to have days of no selections as to giving a tip because he felt he had to, so we may see less tips until he works out a better angle on the MBL.
Kel
Hi Paul,
Just wondering if you have heard anything from Tom? I can’t seem to get a response to my emails and he has not called as promised? And wondering if anyone on your forum has claimed a refund or is intending to do so? What is your take on the current results on the MBL service selections?
I took a full season subscription on the MBL, but have since foound out that it was possible to take a monthly subscription, although that is strange as teh one client I know of who took a monthly subscription did so via my affiliate link and yet as far as I can tell I did not receive an introduction fee for that subscription? Any ideas on that front? Have you had similar issues?
Kel
Hi Kel
We’ve not heard back from Tom. Suggest you keep trying him. I’m pretty sure the refund period is through now, and users have had more than four weeks (on top of the trial period) to decide if this is for them or not. As such, I personally think your request is a little of the ‘cheeky have your cake and eat it’ type.
All of your questions should be directed to the product vendor. This really isn’t the place for such questions.
Best,
Matt
