Lay Formula 13/02/08
Well, we knew it had to happen sometime and today it did! We found our first winning selection of this trial – and our second as well! What made it even more disappointing was that we actually managed five bets for Lay Formula today – something we’ve not done in a while.
The first winner came in the first race of the day. Marsam was carrying top weight but ran very well, leading from start to finish and for the most part jumped well. The day got much better with the next three bets all successful until the 19:20 at Kempton – a track I’ve never really liked especially when we’re dealing with evening racing. Under Fire was our selection, and yet again it led from flag to post with nothing really coming to threaten it. One of those days I guess!
So, let’s hope that’s the winners out of the way for a while and we get back to losing ways tomorrow!
