Lay Formula 26/02/08

What can I say? It was looking like we might get a fair bit of action for Lay Formula today, until what can only be described as a farce came into play at Catterick. There I am, watching the market for a selection while the horses walk around at the start and they decide to call a ‘Formal Inspection’. Am I the only one who found this a bit late? The wind didn’t suddenly appear, it had been windy all day and if the meeting was ever in any doubt at all they should have inspected prior to off time of the first!  Rant over…

So, after losing a bunch of races at Catterick, we were on the back foot a bit and only managed to get one bet in. To help cheer my day up a bit it was successful, and continues the good run we’ve been enjoying of late.
