    Hi Paul

Enjoyed your review of the Cambridge system and purchased it last week…….Just one question though, how did you find Dixie @ 12/1 in Leicester’s 3.30 race yesterday?

    Regards

    Paul

  2. Paul says:

    Paul, please check yesterday’s update….

    http://www.onlinebettingexposed.com/reviews/the-cambridge-target-system/

And the last few posts here….

    http://www.onlinebettingexposed.com/monthly-systems-round-up/

….for more info. I think I’ve put across a good case for using the complete forecasts from the Sporting Life, instead of using the summarized version that appears in the paper version.

  3. Nicky says:

Paul have you heard of the betting investment system? its just been released today.

  4. Paul says:

If it’s from the same people as Betfair Loophole, which is what it looks like, then I wouldn’t bother Nicky. They bring out a new system every week and most, if not all, are crap! :-)

  5. Nicky says:

lol Thank you Paul they where chatting crap about this is for the people that are in the vip section. did they invent befair cash machine?

  6. Nicky says:

Are there any results for yesterday on the Cambridge system?

  7. Paul says:

It sounds like the same people Nicky.

    I’ve updated yesterday’s results for Cambridge….

  8. David says:

    Hi Paul

I have just taken a look at the latest results for Lay The Place on the Sportsworld website and they appear to have had quite a different day on the 30th as follows:

Stop Press Latest Results for 2008

    30-May-2008
    -£122
    £45
    £40
    £16
    £200

There are no race times given but do you think that it would it have been possible to achieve such different results to those that you achieved on the same day i.e. could they relate to different races or perhaps market prices at different times of day etc ?

    Thanks !

  9. Paul says:

God knows David….. my results are correct, so I don’t know where that came from :)

I will ask them, because that isn’t right…..

  10. Paul says:

For info, I’m taking the odds right at the off and I can GUARANTEE that what I’ve got down for my results is what was happening then, so I don’t know where these came from.

  11. richie says:

Paul did you class horse 6 in the 7.40 @kempton as a drifter if not there were to g1 qualifiers

  12. Paul says:

Yes I did Richie. The last two moves on that one were both negatives.

  13. Mark says:

    Richie/Paul,

Horse 6 in the 7:40 was a no qualifier for me as it drifted and did not come back in, maybe that is me reading the rules wrong but for me I read them as if the last show is drifting then do not bet.

The winner was a bet for me as I use the Sporting Life shows, although I think Paul has stated in the other thread that it was not if you buy the newspaper.

Paul out of interest what were the paper odds???

Not a good day by all acounts for the Cambridge system yesterday, I’m thankful I was only available to bet on the evening races so came out with a healthy profit, and stopped after the 7:40

    Cheers

    Mark

  14. Paul says:

You’re right, number 6 wasn’t a qualifier Mark. The only qualifier – when you had the complete forecasts from the SL anyway – was Stoneacre at 10/1. It wasn’t quoted in the paper and the last price quote was 14/1 so there was no way of knowing it was a grade 1 bet if you used that.

  15. Mark says:

    Paul,

Stonecare would have been a non qualifier according to the rules in the book then, which would have made for a truley terrible day as you say.

Although to the rules should Stonecare be included?

Thanks for the reply on the website which slated the system, (not sure if I replied to your email or not) the site is comical giving 5stars to a poker system which I could hammer even though I am a very mediocre poker player!

    Cheers

    Mark

  16. Paul says:

Well, I’ve been shouting from the rooftops that I can’t see the sense in using the paper and guessing at the odds of the runners that aren’t quoted, plus I’ve done the whole test based on the complete forecasts from the SL, so I’m going to keep reporting them like this.

However, I will make it clear what I’ve done when I write my final piece about this tomorrow.

  17. Mark says:

    Paul,

Look forward to the write up, and also what you think of the historical results as I have a few issues/confusion over them!

    Cheers

    Mark

  18. Paul says:

Yep, I agree. I’ve tried to avoid all of the subjective elements by reporting everything to SP, so even if I’ve backed something personally then the odds have changed I’ve reported back what happened according to the true official results, so I don’t think I could have made it any more accurate than that. There’s no “yo-yo” in my results :) but that’s where the historical results start to get a bit cloudy in my mind.
