Betting System Reviews Update: 20/03/13

Welcome to your weekly roundup of the
OBE Betting System Reviews.

Cheltenham contributed to a difficult week for our review services, as between the seven of them, they lost almost £730 over the week.

There were, however, a couple of bright (-ish) spots, as Pro-Ball continued to improve by adding another £62 to their bottom line (thanks mainly to their laying services), whilst there a little bit of welcome relief for Betting Pros whose final day on review actually showed a £31 profit.

Unfortunately the fat lady had already sung her heart out on this one and it was far too little, too late, as you’ll see shortly.

It was a poor week for two services in particular as the Form Man (-£343.54) and Football Lays (-£352.30) contrived to lose almost £700 between them and this has had a real adverse effect on their overall health…

as here is the latest OBE Betting System Reviews league table:

Pro-Ball £59.49 (at day 42) 42
Value Backing £30.00 (at day 16) 16
88 Lays -£164.30 (at day 29) 29
Sporting Profits -£333.37 (at day 38) 38
Form Man -£388.32 (at day 53) 53
Football Lays -£674.30 (at day 16) 16
Betting Pros -£745.66 (at day 60) 60

Last week, I stated that I expected to see Pro-Ball in profit by today and their steady climb from a poor start now sees them at the top of the tree and whilst £60 profit in 6 weeks isn’t anything to get the pulses racing, the service itself looks better when broken down into its components. Closer inspection of this 5-pronged service shows that their tennis tips are some £36.47 to the good whilst they’ve made £207.50 from laying football draws. These two elements have profits in the bag of £244 in six weeks, which is far more palatable.

Value Backing lost a little ground this week, but remain out only other profitable service.

I feel like a broken record, when I keep repeating my mantra about the difficulty of following services that rely solely on football results in winter. Poor pitches and injuries can wreck a tipsters selections and the bottom of our table proves this theory. We said goodbye to Scoring for Profit last week, after it blew its entire 50pt bank in less than eight weeks and our current bottom tw0 are in equally perilous positions.

Combined losses of £1420 from Football Lays (-£674.30) and Betting Pros (-£745.66) are pretty frightening and not something I’d want to be involved with.

I do, however, want to be involved with certain aspects of the Pro-Ball service: you pay your fee and you choose which elements suit you best. Following their football & tennis advice seems to be very lucrative and those two facets alone make this one worth your full consideration.

I’d also advice you to take a closer look at Value Backing: they don’t bet every day and they don’t always get the winner, but the selections offer good value at the odds quoted and the write-ups of the races are excellent.

Until next time, have a good one!
