In a welcome change in fortunes, one of our OBE trial tipsters was a man in form this week, but more about him shortly.

It was actually a pretty good week for the overall balance sheet as profits of £271 were recorded from 8 active services. There’s just eight at present, because Crossbow‘s trial ended last week and I’ve temporarily removed the GAFFA tips review, pending a full recount, there may have been a couple of errors that need amending: it’ll be back online soon!

Three of our trials showed a profit this week, notching up £465 between them. Place Bet Profits continued with their steady bank building exercise with another £41 profit, whilst the VB Extra service found a couple of good winners on their way to making £160. Our star performer this week, however, was the afore-mentioned man in form, as profits of over £264 were recorded by The Form Man, who has recovered from a shaky start.

Elsewhere, the other five services all lost money, but the damage wasn’t too great: just £194 between them. The three main culprits were the Racing Angle (again!) who lost £24, whilst Sporting Profits slipped a further £34 into the red. Even the worst result of the week isn’t life-threatening as Scoring For Profit hit a couple of losses on their way to a loss of £105.

As expected (and predicted last week!), Place Bet profits took full advantage of the end of the Crossbow trial and installed itself in the No. 1 position for its own final week with us. Healthy profits of almost £320 make for good reading and they’ll be hoping to sign off their trial in style this week. It’s actually no surprise to see the weekly top three making up the overall top three, as both VB Extra and The Form Man made quite a lot of progress this week.

That, unfortunately, isn’t/wasn’t the case for either of Betting Pros or the Racing Angle: both of these have performed poorly since Day 1 and now share a combined deficit of almost £1350. They are joined in the bottom three this week by Scoring For Profit who have picked up a distressing knack of just finding one lay too many at the moment.

Last week, I suggested you might consider adding Place Bet Profits to your portfolio and I’ll reiterate that suggestion this week.

Many people like to wait until we’ve finished a full review of a service before they buy it. That’s all well and good (and generally well advised!), but we do know that the vendors have put a cap on the number of subscribers they’re going to take in and if you all wait for the completion of the reviews, some of you may well miss out. I’m not trying to push it to you, I just want you to know where you’re at with it.
