Welcome to our review of Speculate2Accumulate
Speculate2accumulate (also known as SP2A) is a daily email tips service devised and implemented by the Sportingchance Partnership. The service covers mainly UK and Irish racing with occasional foreign group race.
Speculate2Accumulate offer several options for membership.
General Tipping Service
The Speculate2Accumulate tipping service started in October 2010 and say they have had 12 successive months of NET PROFIT! on all of their tips usually set to a level stake of 10 points win or each way.The Tipsters offer staking plans and advise specific stakes for each tip
At this moment there are 6 tipsters working for SP2A, sending out selections most days.
Their reported figures for the past 12 months are as follows:

There are a number of membership options, pay as you win only paying a 10% on any winning bets at level stakes of £10
Eg: A 3/1 win at £10 – total return £40 (incl stake) – you keep £37 – send them £3
Pre-paid memberships are also available depending upon the number of tipsters you would like to receive tips from and the length of the membership.
A pre-paid full membership for all the Speculate2Accumulate services costs £875 for a full year, whilst a premium rate phone and text service is also an option for those not wanting to commit to a full membership.
We reviewed Speculate2Accumulate for a continuous period of 60 days, declaring our results at Betfair SP, based on a level point stake of £10 per bet, unless advised otherwise by Sp2A
Speculate2Accumulate: the Final Verdict
It was an exciting 2 months with SP2A, with many ups and downs, but unfortunately a deficit of £413 to £10 stakes means that in the end the overall review has to come up on the negative side.
However, as with many things in life it’s not always as simple at that.
Of the 6 Tipsters they use, 2 ended up in profit and therefore could be advised as the best to follow if taking up options to only follow 1 or 2 Tipsters: this option is readily available
The Nugget (+£198.83) managed a profit, as did Ardross (+£19.02)
Bayard, The Judge and Rowley Mile all suffered losses between £70 and £150, whilst Placespotter had a poor time recording losses just over £400
A loss of just over £400 from 393 bets at £20 is by percentage a small loss, (around -5%) but a pity given they were £685 up in early December, when my hopes were very high.
I can vouch for the fact the tips are all genuine and returned at Betfair SP less commission, which means anyone taking prices early etc, may well have actually made money.
In summary, a loss over the period means I could not recommend buying the product on results alone, but given that there are some 2 for 1 offers available from SP2A, I would certainly not say they should be ignored, if it wasn’t for a very poor last 20 days in the trial (they admit this was a terrible run themselves)  they would have been recommended as being well worth considering.
I would suggest keeping an eye on the SP2A site and checking the results over the next couple months, as the results reported are genuine, and if they pick up in to the spring, then it would not be the worst thing to consider taking up one or two of their tipsters, particularly The Nugget based on my own experience.

Ive tried this system for the past 10 days after reading up on it. I signed up for 3 tipsters and one of them The Judge has had 5 winners and 2 placed from about 10 selections all at very good prices,two others Ardross and The Bayard have made good profits too. The other thing that impresses is the daily update you get and the customer service seems good,I had a problem logging in one morning (my fault lost my password) e-mailed them and within 5 minutes a new password and the tips sent by email too in case I had further problems…a nice start and one I shall definitely persevere with. Thank you for the kind comments and thanks to all at OBE for the independent review and their attention to detail. Unfortunately in the past 24 hours we have experienced unprecedented server issues at our IT base and these are being urgently rectified. We apologise profusely if you cant access the site and would hope that you will check back later as “all hands are on deck” trying to rectify the problem.
We have a well rehearsed “Disaster Recovery Plan” which ensures in such eventualities our subscribers get their tips and at least we have had a chance to test this today and prove it works LOL…..
We did indeed receive “emergency communication” from Sp2A this morning, so I can verify that subscribers still received the selections despite the Server’s downtime.

To let everyone know we now have an operational website again at Sp2a. It seems the problem was a viral infection in our servers and we have had to replace them and our back-up. I would stress that the virus affected remote servers not our website as such but all is now back and functioning.
The only glitch we have is that the website seems to have lost all data after 25/11/2011 so we will be “bringing it up to date” overnight.

I’m not quite sure what your problem is here. Sp2A proof their selections to Racing Index as well as ourselves and I can confirm that they are on the level.
There’s no big conspiracy going on here. If you want to use a newspaper for tips, that’s your prerogative.

Smokey – there are a lot of unscrupulous people in our Industry however I assure you that we are not one of them.
We do (as Chris indicates) proof tips to a number of dedicated Proofing Agencies and all of our tips are sent to OBE prior to racing at approx 9.30am daily.
If you would care to contact me directly I would be happy to not only explain how proofing works but also to give you an insight in to our Tipsters and various services and how thay run and indeed to give you a couple of free tips so that you can see that they are better researched and we believe more profitable than your average newspaper tipsters who in fairness to them have to provide and produce tips often 24/36 hours in advance of racing to meet print deadlines.
