Welcome to week 41 of the OBE Betting System Reviews.
Changes are certainly in the air aren’t they? Last week we were
discussing the latest fantastic renewal of the Arc, the weather was
warm and sunny and jockeys were free(-ish!) to do whatever they
needed to get their mount home. Now our sights are firmly switched
towards Ascot and Champions’ Day, the weather is best suited to a
muddy slog over fences and jockeys are now very much restricted in
using the whip. Perhaps we’ll now see the true horsemanship and skill
of these guys.
We’ve had a few changes on the OBE Review Site too: we saw the
back of the woeful Football Formula and started six (yes, 6!) new
trials. So without further ado, let’s see what’s been happening!
In truth, it wasn’t such a great week for our trials, but apart from 3 of
them, there was no great drama either. Winners Agency seemed to
have turned a corner this week with a respectable 3pt gain, while moderate
losses were endured by both Lay the Ratings (-1pt) and one of our newcomers
StateSide Sports Pro who lost 2.9pts in week 1.

More damaging losses were sustained by Cherry Bets (-12.5pts) who
are now over 73pts adrift in 4 weeks! It was also a difficult time for
Adyslayoftheday who lost 11pts. However, these weren’t the worst
performers of the week! I’m coming to that one very shortly. We have
5 other newcomers this week: they all come from TopHorseRacingProfits
and consist of 4 daily tipping services: £10 Tips Service (+2.24pts),
Daily Winners (-2.73pts), Racing Goldmine (+1.73pts) and Proven
Winners (-6pts), combining for a small loss of 4.76pts. Their final offering
is Dazzling Dutches who had a terrible first week with us, recording losses
of 43pts! I feel they might struggle to recover from that start.

Which all brings us on to last week’s top 2 of our mini-league:
Win Naps (+0.33pts this week) just did enough to hold on to top spot,
despite another 5.3pts profit coming in from The Horse That Should Win.
These two are firmly well clear of all their current challengers and look
almost certain to earn the much-coveted OBE seal of approval.
As things stand, it will come as no surprise whatsoever, when my two
recommendations this week are, (once again!) Win Naps and The Horse
That Should Win: they are both proving to be profitable and consistent.
