Layability System Review

Welcome to our review of Layability

The authors who offer this horse racing laying service claim they have over 50 years of professional involvement in horse racing betting.

They believe that the safest way to lay is to a fixed liability and general odds range usually from 4.0 to 8.5 thus their biggest liability is 15/2 (this range does fluctuate a little over the course of the year) meaning that you can follow this service with a losing liability of just £15 as Betfair’s  minimum bet is just £2.

Layability advise that you could either use a level liability, or use 5% of your bank as your total liability and increase that liability as your bank improves.

Using 10% of your bank will increase profits further, though at a much higher risk.

All the Layability bets are now proofed on Racing Index but results go further than those on Racing Index (ie back to December 2010) and are available on their site HERE.

Daily selections can be found on their Members Area and bets are available at about 11.00 each day and we intend to use BSP for the purpose on this review.

They offer a monthly subscription for £59.

We reviewed this laying service for 60 days and we kept 2 sets of results:

1. Using level stakes of £10 per point from a starting bank of £1000.
2. Using the recommended liability staking of 5% of the bank: starting from a bank of £1000

All results were declared at betfair SP.

Layability: the Final Verdict

We have now completed the 60 day trial of this service which produced the following statistics:

No Bets (high odds)   7
Non Runners              5
Actual betting days  52
Overall S/R            83.19%
Profit 5% of bank £216.90    Profit on level stakes £54.20.
The trial was conducted using a £1000 bank on each of the staking plans (5% of bank and level stakes).
However as it turned out a £200 bank for the level stakes plan would have sufficed as the lowest balance was £850.80.
With regards to the 5% of bank method it seems that £1000 bank would be necessary to achieve the profit shown above as a £200 bank would only produce a profit of £43.38
The service had an astonishing 83.19% strike rate which for a laying service is very good and had winning runs of 14, 16, 17 and 18 during the trial and the worst losing run being 2 (twice).
Although the vendor says odds should be between 4 .0 – 8.50 bets should be kept ‘in running’ and thus there were some high odds losers as bets were ‘matched’ at the high of 8.50 ‘in running’ whilst the BSP was higher.
The consistency of winning lays is good but at a monthly subscription of £59 (remember the trial was 60 days so an outlay of £118) I can only give this a rating of 8/10. A full breakdown of the selecctions/results can be seen below.
