Welcome to our review of the Place Bet Pro System
Place Bet Pro is an e-book with a set of system rules that attempts to find horses to back in the place market.
It claims to make an average of 20 points per month which is very respectable and is available for a one off price of £77.
The system author’s own figures show a profit of 145 pts in just 7 months at a very healthy strike rate of just over 82.5%
Place Bet Pro is purely a backing system that should be ideally used with Betfair, although any bookmaker offering place only prices could be used and it should only take about 15 minutes to find your selections.
We will be trialling this system for 60 days and will be betting to £10 level stakes.

Place Bet Pro: The final verdict.
We have come to the end of our review of Place Bet Pro: it has finished in profit and always has been since the start.
I have come across a lot of systems in my time but I have to say that I honestly think this is one of the best systems out there. You won’t find any long losing runs with the longest sequence being 3 in a row so far.
At the end of the 60 day trial it made 24.5 pts to level stakes after betfair’s 5% deduction with a strike rate just shy of 78%.
Whilst I’m not a fan of recovery staking systems, I do actually think that any recovery staking system would work with this without breaking the bank. Personally I would recommend 5% of your bank for percentage staking and this would skyrocket the profits as there were plenty of winning sequences of 8 and 9 during the trial.
I think it’s very important to follow the system rules, if followed correctly you won’t go far wrong.
Personally for me during the trial I tried to place my bets as close to the off as possible, as market forces determine the bets to an extent. I think the user will have a larger volume of bets placed in a shorter period of time but ultimately these can be placed in the morning for convenience and in the long term the strike rate and ROI will be pretty much the same.

That’s not how the review system works.
If we gave you the selections before they ran, you’d be getting information for free, that other people have paid £77 for.

Without giving out the rules to the system, I can tell you that there are at least 5 set rules that need to be complied with. If no horses fulfill all the criteria to become a bet, then there will be no selections.

Hi Dave i am the reviewer of the system, the reason that there was no bet yesterday is that the system has a set of rules and there were no qualifiers, i had internet problems over the weekend hence the reason the posts being late, it is off zero benefit to me to post false results, and the system creator would pull me on it if i did.

Hi, I recently bought this system but unfortunately have been too busy with work to use it yet. It would be nice to know how well the system is performing to the advised staking discused in section 2 “How maximise profits and use this sytem to its full potential” I quote. I understand why you havent discused this but a simple profits/ loss figure to advised staking would be very interesting
Section 2 is very subjective in my opinion and is down to personal judgement.
Our reviewer might not have the same reasoning as the next man, nor will he have the same idea of risk management.
That’s why we’re just reviewing the selections that everyone should agree on.
Interesting review. A couple of questions. First, I’ve seen other reports that imply that this system involves place doubles and trebles, as well as singles. But the current review here, and one on another site, seem to only use singles bets. That’s fine by me! – much more interested if the system shows a profit with singles. But I just wondered what the answer was here.
Secondly, there’s the question of the selections.- because there seems very little agreement between this review and that other current review elsewhere. For example, on 30th October: here we’ve got 7 selections, 5 successful; on the other review, only one (a different one! – an unsuccessful bet in the 13:45 at Wexford). Then on the 31st, 4 selections here, only 3 on the other site – two of them different! Perhaps they’re using the Section 2 procedure referred to above – they don’t say so – but perhaps our reviewer could tell us if Section 2 adds a subjective filter that might reduce the number of selections. Otherwise, it’s a big concern for a system if it doesn’t come up wih clear agreed selections.
Hi David, i am just putting out the single selections that are qualifiers as bets, it’s entirely up to the user on how he wants to proceed afterwards.
In response to your second question, for me personally i am doing the selections in real time and the guy that is doing the other review might be looking for qualifiers at 10am and leaving it at that, with the rules there might be 2 or 3 bets that are qualifiers at 10am which dont fit the criteria at the time im about to place my bets, hence the different selections posted, so at the end of the day no 2 users will have the exact same selections, but that does not delve away from the profitability potential of the system. I presume the bet at wexford was waterloo rock or articular, they were not bets for me so im presuming this other reviewer is placing his bets early in the morning.

Useful point to know, because some of us probably do need to place bets all together before the first race (so far as the relative weakness of the place market allows). Be interesting to see if both the early and the just-before-the-off approaches are equally successful!

I think the fact that the 2 reviews I’m overseeing don’t correlate exactly shows that when a system is so subjective, differing results will occur.
The fact I’ve got two reviewers on this should hopefully highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the system and hopefully direct us towards an approach that fits this system best.
PS the reason we’re not pursuing the multiple bets at present is purely because not everyone would achieve the same results, plus to be successful this one really needs to make money from the singles, before even contemplating multiples.

Re. the multiples, I was only concerned because some descriptions I’d seen of the system seemed to suggest that most of the quoted profits came from the multiples. Personally I’m interested in results based on the singles, so I’m very happy with the reviews as they are.
Re. your first comment, though: Obviously I don’t know the system. But is it really so subjective? (leaving aside Section 2, which you’ve commented on) – or is it simply a matter of when you’re placing the bets? There’s a big difference between getting different bets because people are assessing qualifying bets at different times – as Les explained – which is fine – and getting different bets because aspects of the system are down to subjective interpretation – which is worrying, because then there’s no way of knowing if anyone else would get the same results as any review.

That’s no problem, thanks for your reply, yea that’s a tough one to call, i think both approaches could be equally successful over time, but in the short term there will obviously be varying selections where one approach might show a higher ROI than the other. I just decided to go down this route of backing them as it would be easier for me to answer questions like u asked. There is a hell of a lot of potential in the system versus level stakes as you can see from the strike rate and the short losing runs, but at the end of the day it’s upto the individual on how he wants to use the system. It’s early days yet but the signs are good, be nice to get at least 250 selections in before the review ends so we can get some sort of idea of the levels of variance that it encounters, the more data you have at hand the easier your approach on using the system to it’s maximum potential becomes,, at least i hope!! P..

I probably didn’t make myself totally clear.
The singles are not subjective at all. there are certain criteria to be met for a horse to become a selection.
The Section 2 is more subjective with the multiples and the lines become a bit more blurred.
I can’t really expand on this without giving the game away!

Been doing this system of a few days now, I have managed to get most of the horses selected above however when I have come to place the bets on paddy power I haven’t been able to because there has been no bet option for a place bet!
Doncaster 3.05 : Benefical reform I couldn’t bet on this horse as there was no place bet option on paddy power, is there an other web site were people are putting these bets on??

How come in the first 7 months they averaged just over 32 bets per month, however in half of October from when you started publishing the results they had 77 bets and in November 120, how the sudden increase in bets?

Hi, Steve, the reason we average around 30 bets per month is because when you use the system properly as stated in the book, you will be backing doubles and trebles (usually 1 per day)
The results you see above are just the qualifying bets for the system. They did this to show you the results that everybody using the system would achieve just by backing the qualifying bets as singles. The full systems actually involves selecting the best 2 or 3 qualifying bets each day and placing them in a double or treble to increase profits.
